The group finds themselves in the middle of the 1942 Quit India Movement. They see freedom fighters, including Bhagat Singh (played by Aamir Khan), Sukhdev, and Rajguru.
The group of friends, including DJ, Kunal, and others, visit the India Gate war memorial in Delhi. They pay their respects to the soldiers who fought for the country. The group returns to the present
Sukhdev: (smiling) We are ready to give our lives for the country.
The movie opens with DJ (played by Aamir Khan), a British-Indian documentary filmmaker, who is making a film on the freedom struggle of India. He meets a group of young Indians, including Kunal (played by Sharman Joshi), DJ's friend from college. I want to show the world that India has changed
