Learn about 2023 Features and their Improvements in Moldflow!

Did you know that Moldflow Adviser and Moldflow Synergy/Insight 2023 are available?

In 2023, we introduced the concept of a Named User model for all Moldflow products.

With Adviser 2023, we have made some improvements to the solve times when using a Level 3 Accuracy. This was achieved by making some modifications to how the part meshes behind the scenes.

With Synergy/Insight 2023, we have made improvements with Midplane Injection Compression, 3D Fiber Orientation Predictions, 3D Sink Mark predictions, Cool(BEM) solver, Shrinkage Compensation per Cavity, and introduced 3D Grill Elements.

What is your favorite 2023 feature?

You can see a simplified model and a full model.

API RP 2030, titled "Application of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Screening Criteria to Select EOR Candidates," is a document provided by the American Petroleum Institute (API) that focuses on Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques. The document aims to provide guidelines and best practices for evaluating reservoirs for potential EOR applications, helping in the identification and selection of suitable EOR methods to improve oil recovery from existing reservoirs. api rp 2030pdf full

For specific details and to access the full content of API RP 2030, I recommend obtaining a copy directly from the American Petroleum Institute (API) or a similar authoritative source, as it contains comprehensive information and guidelines essential for the industry. If you need the document for academic, professional,

The document emphasizes the importance of EOR in maximizing hydrocarbon recovery from discovered reservoirs, which is crucial for extending the life of oil fields, increasing ultimate recovery, and ensuring energy security. EOR involves techniques that augment the natural depletion process to extract more oil from reservoirs, often by injecting gases, chemicals, or other substances. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Screening Criteria: The document outlines methodologies and criteria for screening reservoirs for EOR potential. This includes evaluating geological, petrophysical, and fluid properties of the reservoir. The goal is to match the reservoir characteristics with the most suitable EOR method(s).
